Selling?

If you have just a few items to sell, this is the way to go. The Old School Auction staff takes in your items on Monday mornings from 9 to 11a.m and on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45p.m, by appointment. Please give us a call before you load your truck to ensure we can take your items. Upon their arrival at our facility, items are tagged, inventoried and scheduled for an upcoming auction.

Some items may be reserved for a special ‘catalog’ auction where we put together some of our highest quality items and target advertising to get the best price for your items. The auction staff will discuss with you the terms of the sale and commission rates for advertising and selling your items.

Weekly advertisements in the Daily News Record and online on our Upcoming Auctions list let the public know about your items.

On Thursday nights, our auctions boast a crowd of at least 100 customers per week, with some auctions topping 300 buyers. Come join us soon! Learn more about selling at auction and about Heatwole Auction Team.

Premise Auctions

Premise auctions are coordinated when a customer has a lot to sell, has large items to sell (such as vehicles or equipment) or is selling real estate. Premise auctions can be for household goods, restaurant, farm or other equipment, vehicles or a combination of all these. Check out our list of upcoming auctions for the details and directions to our upcoming premise auctions.

Selling?

At the time of consultation, the auctioneer will work with the seller to determine if a premise auction makes sense. In some cases, such as situations where parking or display space/location restrictions may prohibit an on-site auction, the auction team may move items to their Old School Auction. The season of the year may also lead to a move of items to our auction facility.

A good portion of our premise auctions are held on Saturdays, but other days of the week are also good auction days.  In general, the merchandise brings the crowds and Wednesday auctions and night auctions have been known to bring in very large groups.  One reason for this may be that there is less competition from other Saturday events.

Rain or shine, the show goes on with Heatwole Auction Team. We’re prepared with tents and plastic to ensure the safety of items during a premise auction. And, don’t worry about the rain, auction-goers don't and will still attend your auction.
